Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born February 22 1983 was an American actor, comedian and executive producer. She was the winner of the 2008 edition of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went to host the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. 5 As of 2022, she's launched six comedy specials for Netflix. Netflix began her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April , 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was the daughter of a Jewish family. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved when she was just a little girl. She attended Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she was a student of Spanish and was part of the school's improvisation team.





 Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She also performed in Semester at Sea. She transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied in film. She also honed editing and writing skills and joined one of the campus's comedy sketch groups Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger who was a graduate of college, relocated to Los Angeles in order to explore stand-up comedy. She was one of the most well-known performers of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
