Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. Born on 11th November 1966. After making her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte on Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Photographer approached Doody Doody took up modelling and subsequently a career in commercial modelling. Doody was very determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. This rule extended into her acting career. After getting noticed by the directors who were casting an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody took a small part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. She was Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her greatest role as Austrian archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Dr. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. In the film, she also appeared alongside Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody is a co-star with three actors in the role of James Bond. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Then she moved to Hollywood. She took over Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson role. Then she played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994. After a long absence from the stage Doody was back in the acting world with a small role in 2003 British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an event scene for the award ceremony. She was in the film together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody had a minor role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). In 2011, she was scheduled to play the lead role in The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). Almeria film award, tierra de cine and an Almeria walk of fame star were awarded on the 21st of November, 2018.
